Fuel Cut Off Solenoid

I have a 1997 B21TL/TLB Engine D1005-TLB Ser. #50075. I was operating my tractor and then it just died. I checked it out and found the fuel cut off solenoid was bad. I installed a new one(1503ES-12A5UC5S), after installation I turned on the switch to accessory, which energized the solenoid but blew the 5 amp fuse. I don't know if I have the wrong solenoid or it is just bad.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Check your wiring again.....sounds if something was grounded that should NOT be .........

anything ELSE on that circuit?
why turn to accessory to activate solenoid? Should it be turned on with engine set in the run key position? OR is accessory the first key turn?

You need the WSM, I sent you an Email for it. ;)

The 5 amp fuse does not protect the Stop solenoid it protects the wiring and OPC (Operator Presence Control).

You have an issue there, the WSM should be able to help you track down where the issue is.

Gentelman what a relief to receive your responses. In my great wisdom, in the past I downloaded a wiring diagram that is for a B2100 and that is what I have been trying to work with (NOT THE RIGHT ONE) I have been pulling my hair out, and at my age its pretty thin. I greatly appreciate your feedback especially from Wolfman ( the correct wiring diagram) which is going to make diagnosing my problem a lot "EASER".

No for what ever reason I did not receive the E-Mail. I do really appreciate the correct wiring diagram.
Thanks Again. I was helping my son cut up an Elk today so I didn't have the opportunity to work on my little hummer.
