My son had trouble with "L" when he was little. Referred to it as goofing. I found it appropriate.
That loader is quite unique. The long bucket cylinders seem out of place.

My brother-in-law wants to sell me this gray market Kubota. Can anyone assist me in figuring out what model it is? TIA
I'm guessing that your BIL doesn't know what he's selling.

It's a two cylinder. I found NW K2-B stamped on the engine block, but I don't know if that's an ID for the engine or the model.

That's the pic of the data plate of my B7000 that I posted as an example for the OP.
Wondered how long it would take for someone to assume those where pics of his data plates. Almost fell for it myself too.

Saw that too - did a double take - but if the original poster "looked" for the metal ID tag......we might be on to something! Hopefully he can find it !:D:)

Looked like someone had repainted the hole tractor. Tags probably been painted over

Yes, this thing was spray-painted orange and the plate's been removed...I can see four holes on the left side of the tranny where it was originally. From the previous poster's photo it looks like his was by the pto. BTW, the pto on this turns clockwise. Everything on this tractor works and it comes with a blade, box blade, tiller (with tines missing) and a field mower. He wants $2,500...what do you folks think? It sounds like a good deal to me.

hope your crystal ball knows the ID plate pictures are not from the tractor in question:eek:

That said though with a working tractor of that era and all those implements along with a FEL... that is a good price IMHO.
Geo,

If you saw above - I do understand where the other plate came from (TomCat), my best guess is that it IS a B7000D - it is a twin cylinder - 4 wheel drive, despite the lack of plate - the scoop in the hood (from the picture) says it is a B7000D

notice the one scoop on the side of the hood, and the other tell tale signs.............

Thanks for the photo...I think you're right about it being a B7000D. Here are some other alpha-numerics I found on various locations:
Front axle-6122
Front of left wheel hub-6226
Front differential-B1 07 (I think, it's hard to say for sure)
Right front wheel hub-A2 5
My next thread will be about the tiller that comes with it. I'm definitely going to buy it now that I've researched the cost of implements that come with it.

My ID plate is on top between the shifter and steering column as per my photo. The other pic shows where the serial number is stamped into the frame on the side.

I just bought a Kubota tractor that has no model number on it anywhere I can find. I thought it may have been an L305DT by a parts manual I found over on MyTractorForum. However my tractor has a 4 cylinder engine. It also has a multi speed PTO. Any ideas as to what I might do to narrow down the search as to what it is? Thanks!
