The good, the battery drain problem with my B7100 is solved.

The bad, when trying to start the tractor the glow plug indicator coil burns out in about 4/5 seconds.
I thought the glow plug indicator coil was to reduce the voltage from the battery (12 volt) to glow plugs (10volt)
Post 19 on the back of the key switch is a little loose, enough to wiggle, could this be the problem?

What am I missing ??? Is there another resistor some where that I am missing? I don't see one in the wiring diagram that is in the service manual.

Replacing the glow plug indicator coil will get expensive in a hurry. How many ohms is the glow plug indicator coil? Maybe I could find the same thing but at a little less cost ?

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

It sounds like the indicator is grounded. The 3 glow plugs themselves should be wired in parallel to each other only, the 3 being fed in series from the indicator. Make sure that the indicator is wired in series with the glow plugs, NOT to ground. While the indicator acts as a resistor for the glow plugs, the glow plugs act as a resistor for the indicator.
