I think I have looked this forum board over for some links to parts places but can't find it. Am i looking in the wrong area for a list of web pages where parts can be bought for our B 7100

Off the top of my head http://www.tractorpartsasap.com/ is an excellent source for reasonably prices parts but they're selection can be limited. www.Messicks.com can get any part you need but anything over nuts, bolts, and gaskets are ridiculously over priced. They wanted $730 for a steering box and column asap had for $450. Asap had the clutch for $50 that Messicks wanted $80 for. I haven't checked the dealer's prices on parts but I'd be willing to bet they're actually not to much different from Messicks on most things.

www.compactractorparts.com Ok never mind these people don't have all the small parts either but they did have a ball nut repair kit that I needed. Messicks was very helpful though.

I used Messicks for most of the parts on a rebuild of a L295DT....good service and always the right part.
Not the most inexpensive, but neither is the local auto parts store I use for other projects: getting the right part the first time, and the resource of information from the guys at the counter (believe it or not, the most knowledgeable guy is named Vic!) is worth the extra money. [Piston Service, Anacortes, WA]

Anyway....I believe that if you find the right combination of price and service....you're going to be a lot happier than having to go back to the counter to get it right again (and again).

Find the supplier of parts that works for you.....do a little research....and enjoy!

Thanks guys for the info. I am not sure what we are going to need yet, taking the 7100 for a bath and a diesel mechanic shop first get it running then see what is wrong.
