I am retired Senior NCO from the United States Air Force. I own a small piece of land near Hollywood, SC. My L3800 is my first Kabota, but not my first tractor.

179 hours and the tach and the hour meter stops working. Just read what to check. Thanks.

Also, would anyone happen to have the service manual for the L3800?

Thanks in advance.

I'd check the fuses for the dash components. If it's a newer one, I think they are all electric.

L3800 you most likely have a flex cable that comes from the back of the instrument panel, right-angle fitting with cable headed to right.

I believe that Coleman has the Workshop Manual 9Y121-05200; and Illustrated Parts List (IPL) 97898-25000 for L3800H model.

Give them a call to get the right manuals for your model.

Welcome to OTT Dnscomputing. Thanks for your service. What years did you serve? Are you from SC originally or did you serve at Charleston AFB?
