We have a new(used) backhoe without a block htr, a necessity here in WY. The driver's side(L) has 4 freeze plugs but has a steel hydraulic line right in front. The R side is pretty inaccessible. The L side will probably work by gently retracting the lines a little if there is clearance for the htr. Does it matter which freeze plug is used? The forward one is the most accessible.

I cannot say for certain for your model but must recent Kubotas have a threaded hex plug where the heater goes rather than in a frost plug as you are thinking.
The plug is typically 17 mm and needs a hex tool to remove it. It is often hard to get out.
See this link to understand the style and perhaps buy one.
The installation instructions include this: "Standard mounting position for Kubota Tractor engines is in the Right front threaded plug hole."Threads are 3/4" NPT
