Hey guys. This is my first post to this site. I have a 2011 L4240 and it seems to have blown out an "expansion plug" in the block just above the oil pan (Kubota part #17391-96160). I'm not really sure what the purpose of these plugs are (there are 3 of them I think) but oil pours out of the newly opened hole like pouring water from a bottle. The part is <$1.00 but the labor to get to it is extensive (dealer said it was a "2 day job"). Do any of you fellas know a cheaper alternative to plugging this hole? I am not a mechanic but have some skills. I cannot take the tractor apart however, which is apparently what is required to access the plug hole. Thanks!
