I found a large mouse nest under the panel insert(tach, temp, fuel)on my B1700 dash which I cleaned out. Noticed that the mice had chewed through a black electrical box on the left side of the space ,below the panel, when sitting on the seat.
The black box has 3 wires leading to it. Red,green and black as I recall. Also exposed in the black box was a spool of copper wire. Does anyone know what this box is for? The tractor seems to run o.k. Any ideas on how to keep mice out of this space?
