Does your L2000 have the common three point bracket set behind the seat, or a ridged style of "A" frame looking structure that extends rearward from the seat with a small 8-10" mini top link hanging off it?

Reason I'm asking is I've seen both on gray market L Series tractors of this vintage and if yours has the rigid frame rather than the dual three hole brackets then you'll need to upgrade these in order to achieve proper upward articulation of the implement.

I'll try to find some pics and add to the post
I uploaded the only picture I have right now, I am 150 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico, I will get a better picture when I get home and post it.

Noticed that you are missing the safety shield over the PTO.
Please read about them and then you will probably want to replace it.
I used one from the Bare company and like it
