how did plugs get tested? Ohm meter? Volt meter to plugs once key was turned?

readings for both ?

i used test light off pos.battery term.
ok - that says that you have a voltage TO the plugs.....does not mean that are "good"

Pop the top connection off of each one - test using OHMs meter - neg lead to ground - pos lead to top of plug - each one separately will/should have a reading of close to 1 ohm , anything above 10 ohms, it is bad.....
ONE that is really bad will have an infinite reading.

You need to buy or borrow a multimeter and check the plugs for ohms. ;)

dealer "i don't have ohm meter, i did disconnect wiring/busbar from plug to isolate, used 12volt testlight to pos. dealer told me this wouldd work?"

like was mentioned.......ALL this tells you - YOU are getting voltage TO the plugs.....

Take a 9 volt battery and test it.....touch it with your fingers.....get shocked? NOPE? Stick it on your tongue.....now?

YOU need to see IF the plugs are getting hot - ..........now, you could pull one - take some alligator clips, hook up the plug to a "good" battery for about 5 seconds.....like the 9 volt on the tongue- you will know IF the glow plug is working then!;):)

This is simple. Busbar off glow plugs, test light clip on positive battery terminal and touch probe on test light to each glow plug terminal. Light illuminates? If it does, likely its working. Repeat with other plugs. Assuming they are all good, busbar still disconnected and test light moved to negative battery, cycle key to glow. Should light test light.

I had the same problem starting my BX2370. The fuel solenoid on mine was sticking. When you go to half throttle you bump the solenoid linkage and free the solenoid. Now before I attempt to start, I move the throttle to full and then back to minimum, then I go through the starting procedure and it starts right up.
