I was finishing up painting the cab I built for my B8200, and just couldn't put it on the tractor without painting it first. To faded, to pink. So I stripped all the panels off, sanded them down, and loaded my paint gun and got to work.

I have to say, from 5' it looks spectacular. Need a few more coats, though.

Need to get more paint. Picked up a bigger compressor, too. My 3gal pancake I could spray for 30 seconds then wait 10 minutes for it to refill, was making it very tedious. I know, i'm mostly done, but home depot had a 20gal on clearance for $150, so I thought why not. The cab took me 4 hours to spray with all the waiting for the compressor, it should take me 20 minutes now.

I'm not that happy with the sanding and paitning of the panels. It still looks light in areas. I'm thinking I may sand them again and prime them properly, then do orange again.

If you are worried about the coverage, you can sand and paint additional coats, but I would not primer again. It will just take you that much longer to cover the primer. Just start with your color coats again, and you will get to you orange color that much sooner.

You know through all of your tractor altering and cab building I never noticed or maybe I figured you were just going to put it on after you built the cab, But, Where is the ROPS?

The tractor didn't come with ROPS, though I've considered purchasing one. I couldn't mow with it due to low tree's, but it would fit under the cab. It's flat here, never really had any reason or concern for one.
