Had Mr. Hodge build me a pair of his stabilizers, for my JD 870. Initially he thought he wouldn't be able to do them, due to lack of space. Fortunately, after e-mailing some info/measurements and pics, he found that there was enough space to build a pair.
What a welcomed improvement to the machine! For those that have a pair of these already, you know what i'm saying. For those that do not, I suggest contacting the man and seeing if he can do a pair for your machine.

I second the view, first tractor used the turnbuckle a few times before the upgrade. Would never go back, great quality and service too!

How does one find this Mr. Hodge? I have three Kubota B-series tractors and have nothing good to say about the factory turnbuckle system...

Turnbuckles are a huge pain the a$$.
If you get a chance to use these with Pat's easy change system, you will seriously want to kick yourself for not making these upgrades earlier. What a breeze to change attachments out now:cool:

I love my Hodge stabilizers on my BX1830! Talk about a total game changer when changing 3-point attachments. No more wasting time turning the turnbuckles trying to make the implement fit well.. Just pull the pin, move the arm, pin back in and away you go!

Totally agree....easily the best addition to my BX. Love them! Mark is great to work with.

Shocking Kubota doesn't offer something similar as an OEM option. Talk about lost revenue! Or even dealers for that matter.

I've got them on my B2650. The dealer only had the cabbed version flyer on site when I was looking, and they are pictured on it installed, no mention of it being an option. I assumed it came standard on the ROPS version and we both commented on how nice of a feature it was. When I picked her up it had standard arms. I showed him the brochure made no mention of quick adjust arms not being standard. He hunted down a brochure of the rops version and it clearly stated it was an upgrade option. He agreed that it was misleading on the cab brochure and ordered the upgrade for me at no charge. Lesson learned #1, don't assume anything based on brochure pictures. Lesson #2, it's good to know my local dealer is honest and on my side. Bottom line, super nice back saver feature. If you don't have them, they are well worth it.

They just get better and easier to use as i get more and more familiar with them.

I will admit, i did make a change to them already. They come with bolts for mounting. I changed all the bolts out with 7/16" clevis pins and hair pins.
