I have a BX25 and I'm considering stepping up to a B2920 (found a new 2013 at the dealer) as I'd like more loader capacity and additional towing capability.

Questions are:

How well does the B2920 mow when using a 60 inch belly mower and how steep of an angle can you mow going sideways on the hill. My BX25 tends to slide instead of tipping but the B2920 sits 4 inches higher.

I'd like a loader bucket system that would allow me to take the loader bucket off and snap on a front blade for snow removal. The B2650 has this system. Is there an aftermarket system for a b2920?

Aside from a backhoe, belly mower and loader, what features do you reco. to add to the B2920 - work lights, ballast box?

Thanks in advance.

I have the B2620. I also have the FEL, Mid Mower, and back hoe. It cuts great with the belly mower. Maneuverable isn't as good as a zero turn(LOL), but very good for the size. I have a step hill(I have a walk out) and I haven't had any troubles with sliding, but my tires are weighted. Prior to buying the 2620, I asked the dealer if I should just spend the extra $ and move up to the 2920. He stated "it wasn't worth the extra money, to move up to the 2920" His words not mine. I have no regrets on the purchase of this size of tractor.

I don't know how bad an angle your mowing, but I mow off the edge of my driveway with my B2620 and it used to scare me on my Craftsman lawn tractor, but the Kubota is stable. My tires are NOT loaded either. I even leave the loader on.

I find it has lots of power.....more than enough for the traction it can find. Runs the 51" snowblower and BXM32 chipper/shredder no problem.

If the 2920 is the same as the 2620.....get the 40A alternator upgrade if you are adding work lights. They only come with a 14A? dynamo.

Don't know about the fel quick attach. That is one of the reasons I want to trade for a new B2601.

Thanks for the input.

Did some searching and found that the FEL quick coupler is kubota Model No. B1658 Serial No. A2677. Costs around $300. Not listed for the LA 364 loader but will fit.

Thanks for the info! Does that just pin on, or is welding and fab required?

According to a few folks on the tractor forums, it pins right on. Just do a google search for Model No. B1658 and it should pop up pictures of the coupler installed on a B2920 LA364 loader.

I have a B2920 and use the B1658 coupler. Works slick, it pins on in place of the bucket. Then you leave the top pins in the bucket and remove the bottom pins and tip the coupler out of the bucket. Fast and simple. I mow with a 60"MMM, works great and the tractor is very stable.
