How bad is the install of the Power Beyond on a BX2670 ?
I’m looking to add rear hydraulics for my rear blower chute rotation.
I’m not finding much for prices on Messics or Germanbliss web sites.

I just put this kit on m bx2670-1. If you have a 2670(not -1) the kit is a different part number I think might be 7376.

I got mine from Messicks, cost was around 350 and It took about 2 weeks to get. The install is not really that hard but there is not much room to work, I’m embarrassed to say it took me probably about 6 hours with 4 of those hours trying to get the steel lines connected to the spool valve. Everything has to line up perfectly. I also suggest crows foot wrenches and stubby open end wrenches to be able to tighten everything down. I think I mainly used 18 and 19mm.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like my local dealer is the best priced at $332. I do the the 2670-1 so the kit is almost 100 cheaper than the 2670.

That tractor looks way too clean!

Agreed, it’s been feeling neglected with the lack of winter we’ve had here so I had to buy it new toys this year to show it some love. It should get a little dirty this year while playing with the new sub soiler and grader scraper.

Why is there 4 Couplings at the back? I assumed there would be 2.

The kit has 2 remotes (2 couplings for each). For example I have a hydraulic top link and to operate it, it requires 2 hydraulic lines connected to it, One line extends the cylinder out while the other retracts it.

For a more technical answer hopefully someone with more knowledge chimes in.

Yep the remote kit is a two spool valve kit, so two sets of remotes. ;)

So the kit can control 2 different options on a single attachment? Like on a blower, the shoot rotation on one set of couplings and the shoot top on the other?

The dealer has the LP electric kit in stock. I may consider this route unless anyone knows a reason not to.

Stick with the two spool kit as it will easily do what you want on your blower.

Why would you want to use the electric kit if you can get the two spool non electric one?

The photos of the kit installed look very neat which you could not easily duplicate with an electric valve installation.

The only reason I’m considering the electric is due to cost. It’s a few hundred less. With the electric kit it’s just a control box on the tractor and a electric motor on the blower. Very simple install.

Yes exactly, and compared to electric, Night and day, Hydraulics is the only way to go when it comes to cold weather operations.

Also the investment in the hydraulics will carry over to any other need down the line where the electric is blower only.

The hydraulics will also raise the desirability of the tractor for resale of trade in down the line.

Very good point!
