Those look nice. After welding, do you just spray paint them with a can? I hate the thought of messing up my factory paint so always wondering how guys fix the paint. Thanks!

The factory finish got messed up about 5 minutes after I had the first tractor delivered. I just sandblasted one of my buckets and I'm about to repaint it. Dirt tends to wear the finish off...

Hi Tucker,
I just painted them with a rattle can right after I finished welding.
And then it started raining...so the paint isn't that great.

Your paint looks like a closer match than the rattle can i got at HomeyD.
I just hold cardboard at the edge of bare metal that was exposed for welding, to reduce overspray.

Aren't there two Kubota oranges? Kubota orange 2 is the modern one I think. Maybe you accidentally got Kubota 1.

I was glad to see that the Woods bucket on my new L4701 has a 3/4” hole drilled in the brackets on the back of the bucket. So I threw a couple Clovis hooks in them and chain fits through fine. Hooks might be easier but not drilling or welding is nice.

When I got my MX4800 last summer, the dealer welded a hook on to the center of the bucket without me even asking and just painted it with a rattle can...pretty close match.
