Hi Vic & Everyone,
This site is awesome, loads of great info!
I originally wrote this as a comment on the main page but I got an error when I tried to summit it so I am posting it here instead, not sure if this is the right spot for it, if not please feel free to move it.
I have a L1500DT and I am wanting to add another hyd pump driven off the front crankshaft splines.
Do you have or know where I can find a coupler that will fit?
A part number for it would also be a big help.
I have watched your Youtube video about tapping the existing hyd lines, but I would rather add another pump and tank up front if possible, I already have everything I need but the coupling.
Kubota tractors rock big time, I got my first taste of these lil orange tractors back in 1975 when the city Park dept I worked for bought a couple of them, they go forever and are all but indestructible, I have had my 1500 for a good 10 years now and couldn't be happier with it.
They said I couldn't pull a 5' brush hog with it, well I am on my second, already wore one out, lol.
So far all I have done to this thing is add fuel, (it runs forever on 5 gallons), change oil, replaced 1 front tire, the seat, (which needs replaced again), replaced the steering box, had to straighten the PTO shaft and machine a new mounting plate out of "real" steel, & need to replace the exhaust manifold.
Has anyone ever heard of converting one of these tractors to power steering?
Thanks In Advance for Your Help.
Paul
