I' m trying to remove thetiming cover to replace the oilpu pump. The problem is that I can't get at the lower two bolts. There is a piece of frame material in front of the bolt heads. Removed the front axle to try to gain access also, still a no go. There is also a Schwartz Mfg. ( SMC) loader on this tractor. The front frame rails look to be double thick. Is it possible that the frame was reinforced when the quick attach loader was installed? Curious about how to proceed. Help!!

Pictures of what your working on would help.
Sounds like your going to have to unbolt the front frame and lower it to gain access to the two bolts.
I did mine a little while ago and only had to drop the axle but it's a different model. ;)

Or maybe loosen the motor mounts (if any) & jack up the engine. As NIW said, pics would help.

I don't see motor mounts. The motor is bolted to the frame rails. Not looking like much fun to remove loader brackets without being able to use the hydraulics. The offending bracket is the piece that the rear most front axle bracket is bolted up to from underneath. Might have to find a way to cut some of the bracket away.

Or maybe drill a couple of holes to get a socket through….
