Buying repairs/parts

Anybody on the forums selling Kubota repairs ? I need complete gasket set for L2050DT front gear case, front seal, water pump gasket, etc. If competitive with Messicks (sp?) or the other online dealers, just as soon buy from forum member. What say you, gents ?

Zuric, no member that I know of sells gaskets. There are a couple of after market sellers like Kumar Brothers.

I'd suggest, as you suggested, Messicks or Coleman Equipment. Then you get the "real McCoy" and know you won't have to remove something because of a bad gasket, or have to wait because you got the wrong gasket.

When you go to the dealer you can get specific gaskets without the whole kit.

I would not use anything but a Kubota head gasket, if you have to pull it.

Thanks for the reply. I was all ready to fire off to Kumar an order..till I read your and others posts concerning the quality of their parts. Being old, I cannot figure any real learning experience involving removing that gear case a couple of times because of bum parts..so guess I will just bite the bullet and buy 'Orange'.

I bought the water flange and thermostat housing from them,,speedy shipping and cheap..but those are 'hard' goods.
