Front drive on bx

My bx 2200 front drive compression pin that connects the drive shaft to the mounted drive spline mounted to the frame, keeps coming out. I don't think it's worn out because of the effort required to drive the new pin back into place. Any ideas or help ? Thanks

Can you put a piece of wire through it, and wrap it around the shaft to hold pin in?
