Just a great tool, I found, for about $30. For the record, I have no financial interest in this company, nor am I advertising. Just wanted to recommend something good.

I have been greasing equipment for over 35 years. If I had one of these when I started, I'd have about 3-4 cases of grease sitting on the shelf, or in my equipment, rather than slung out on the ground, from leaking past standard couplers...:D

hope this helps some future member looking for such info.

Excellent info - I have a dedicated vise grip on mine so I can press it in the position and then break it free, some of the zerks are hard to get seated - the ones on the front bucket can be a PITA.

I bought a pneumatic grease gun a while back - 75 bucks worth every penny, Tractor Supply had one for 15 bucks, on sale for 8 ....I bought one, seems to work well.

I too might invest in some of these fittings

That's awesome! Those recessed ones on the FEL are often a huge pain to get out since theres little to no wiggle room.

Ordered one for my Lincoln 1162 Air Operated Grease Gun. Got tired of throwing away lever-operated zerks. This machine is built like a tank. With the new tip it ought to make lubing much less of a hassle.

Thanks...

Just order 1 for me and 1 for my father in law. I was hoping to give it to him for Christmas but it looks like I could not ship it faster than standard shipping. Any how I am sure we will love it if it works as advertised.

DIYDave,

Thanks, this is a good heads up. I'll get one.
