Bought the BX25 new 16 months ago - now have 165 hrs mainly building a well road and other road maintenance. Only issue was a loose bolt on the HST linkage (thank you Wildfire for that solution).

Only regret is I should have bought it 10 years ago when I first thought about getting one. (What would I do with it? was the question then).

My BX2360 is at 256 hours over almost 5 years.

It's mostly summer and winter work with MMM and blower. Do 2-3 lawns, and multiple driveways occasionally.

Try to reserve FEL work for spring and fall, between mowing and blowing.

Last fall, had little work for it, and did driveway for the first time yesterday.

You know in this aspect, Kubota owners are much like Harley riders. And maybe viper drivers too and maybe vett drivers. Seems people are obsessed with the number of miles you put on each year or hours you put on. Boys and girls, don't worry they aint gona fall apart! Some guys I know have more miles on the Harley than I have on the truck and less hours on their tractor then I do on a tread mill. The simple thing is use them, enjoy them, do your maintenance on them and they will out live most of us in here

Now ease back Skeets. It's not about hours at all. It's just a topic for folks to get online and post something. Like "Hey, how's it going?" It isn't really in inquiry of how are you really doing, just a conversation starter.

You're correct. The hours mean nothing. Like asking how many steps on your pedometer today?

Quit picking on those guys, they just want to say "Hello"! Kinda like what you and I just did! :D:D

Actually, I think that's pretty good advice that can be applied to almost anything. I have outboards from the 30's, bikes from the 80's, sleds from the 60's and a wife from the 50's. They all still work, given some occasional TLC. ;)

2011 BX 25, 1500 hours. No major mechanical problems, minor irritating little stuff. Keep maintenance up religiously. Never use SUDT2, NAPA 85-405, and all NAPA filters. Have WSM and it has saved me a lot of $$ staying away from the dealer shop.

Bought my 2006 BX18 in 2010 with 420 hrs. Now at 680 hrs. Used for lawn mowing, tilling garden, moving trailers around my yard. Only issues have been front tie rod grease seals, replaced leaking front tires, but now a leaking oil plug which I will correct in my annual fluid change. Very fuel efficient and should last many more years. I don't leave any equipment outside!
