I am coming up on 200 hours pretty quick and wondering if the prices I am getting from local Kubota dealers is in the ballpark. I would prefer to do it myself but I am still recovering from a double knee replacement and can't get down on my knees yet. There are 3 dealers within 50 miles and there prices range from $350-$450. The highest price is (of course) from the dealer that is only 7 miles away and the lowest price is 49 miles away. Just curious as to what is the norm. I am in west central Indiana. Thanks-Mike

I would say that is the norm. Sorry to hear you cannot do it yourself.:) Do you have any other person that could do it while you teach and supervise? :)
The fluids and filters will run you up above $100 but even if it takes a little while to have someone else turn a bolt or two, it would be a great experience for you and them.;)

I could see that someone may have a problem with the filters - but depending on the age of the person, it should not be a problem. And paying this person a little on the side would still place you money ahead.

On my BX - I was quoted over $350.....and did it myself for about a $100.

For B2320HSD, at 200 hours, it is only an engine oil change, oil filter, HST filter, transmission filter, fuel filter element, and some minor checks. You do not have to change out the hydraulic fluid until 400 hours. So, yes, it seems high for a glorified engine oil change. There is a little more to it, but it is not a full fluid change either. I am guessing, but I would think they would be spending less than an hour on it unless there is a problem; and if there was a problem, then at that point there would be additional costs anyway.

Parts wise (no labor): $100 for engine oil and filters seems high.

That kit includes the air filter which is about 1/3 of that kit cost. However, the air filter does not need to be changed at the 200 hour service... just cleaned. So for the 200 hr service you could save about $33 off that kit by not getting the air filter.

Thanks for the feedback. I have always did all of my own maintenance on all of my vehicles/equipment but the new knees just won't let me. I am shopping for some good gel knee pads this weekend and maybe that will let me get this done.
