I am parting with my collection of L245DTs I have acquired over the years.

Overall the tractors have been a great work horses but with the four legged horses I have also acquired over the years, and farm to care for, I find getting older, a larger tractor would be easier (moving up to M6800).

L245DT with Loader and frame mounted backhoe: $9000. http://youtu.be/aV1PJXKHXSk New tires and rims, replaced final drive axles and housings with bearings and seals due to weight of hoe over the years. Rebuilt steering box with new balls and tubes. Replaced various hydraulic lines.

L245DT with 3pt blade and scoop: $5000. http://youtu.be/eYkxFI-xzPI have had for 30 yrs and wife cant believe I am selling as I don't give up things easily, but will no longer need. PTO override clutch has recently been replaced.

L245DT for parts or rebuild $3000. Tractor would be complete with the exception of the parts borrowed to continue operating many of the other tractors both listed above and not selling. Missing rear tires and rims, right rear fender, seat, left rear final drive, steering shaft (have ball and tubes for replacement), possibly a few other minor parts.

L185/L245 for parts. Transmission, Differential, Clutch assembly, Belly mower brackets.

email any questions or offers.

hmmm. I've got an L235 that I have to rebuild engine..... though I'ld like to rebuild an L275 engine and put in it (D1302 instead of D1102 that comes in L235 and L245). But a running D1102 might change my mind.

I am looking for FEL to rebuild and put on the L235 though. Got an FEL pieces? Also looking for implements that need reworking or ugly ones that work just fine.

I have often wondered why so many different models were made that were so similar in stats, until I was getting parts for my older Nissan and Datsun trucks. They would ask me for the month of manufacture. Would the you mean the year? No, the month, as they could only import a certain amount an by making minor modifications, they could sell more quotas. I find the same to be similar with Kubota, 17-18-19-25-26-27hp. It may make a difference according to the label on the hood but having it tuned well or not will also make that difference.
If you are interested, let me know, headed to FL this weekend (through Col and Cinci), PA next weekend, maybe TX the next and could bring parts with me.

Im not deep enough into my rebuild to know "exactly what I need besides what I mentioned above and you have not responded if you have anything to match.

Do you go thru Cinci on occasion? Same for TX? In about a Year or so I'll have a Diesel Motorcycle, spare engine and parts that will need to be hauled from outside Dallas to here.

Oh and funny thing...... Im an old Datsun guy too. Miss my Roadsters. Had a 1600 SPL311 and a 2000 SRL311. Also a 510 and a PL521 truck. Dad for a short while had a PL520

The engine on the L245DT is the D1101 and from what others say is not the same as the D1102. At this point the engine, pumps etc are all complete for an entire swap. I will have to see if the bell housing will bolt up. I know the tranny was the same in the 185, 245, and I think 285. There is a good possibility there would be a connection at some point. Where do you think the problem lise in the D1102?

As for trips around the country, they vary depending on who has what and where it is or needs to be. I am not a transporter by primary job title, but at time it seems to be! If I am in the area of TX at the time you have the cargo, let me know, I could possibly be of assistance.

...Wengers in Central PA have some parts for the L235. If you knew what you needed and if they had them I could possibly swing by.

I have also been looking at the comparison of part numbers. Many of them have the same ending. Is that an indication that they are the same, just for a different tractor? The Flywheel housing is one of those. If anyone could shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

Do you still have a complete DH1101?
RetiredLawnBoy that had the L245 parts has not been here in about a year. You're probably better off clicking on his user name and go thru that channel to email him.
