Wolfman, I presume your about as sick of snow as we are of rain. :p Been hard rains here about every other day. Pretty much in hibernation mode since we can't do anything outside.

Probably around 8" of rain so far this month at my house. 20" so far this year according to the neighbors rain gauge. North East part of the state got 14" of rain over two days last week.:eek:

Same here with all this rain. Need to mow so bad and can’t even think about getting the zero turn out:mad:

We are looking at another Winter Storm here in Northern Michigan. .5” of rain, then 6” of snow. I feel your pain.

I'm beginning to wonder why I spent all that money on a front blower and sub frame. These last couple years it didn't get much use if any not that I'm complaining. It's been a cold month though, the lake is completely froze over which has only happened a few years that I can remember. Heat will be a welcomed site.

Grass is just starting to come up. Won't have to mow for a bit yet. But the first couple times will probably result in slinging water with the finish mower behind the tractor in the back yard. Probably be the end of June or early July before I'll be able to use the finish mower back there.

I need to get my landscape trailer out of winter storage on the back fence line. But right now it would make a huge mess. Same with mulching the flower beds. Should have done it last fall when it was dryer

Having lived in just about all the climates in the US I personally prefer the winters up north. Cold, dry, and the snow looks nice outside my window. Last time I visited relatives in Arkansas during the winter it was 35-40F and raining. I was cold to the bone the entire miserable time. Really made me happy to get back to snow blowing, even without a cab! Jeff

It’s been fairly damp here this year also but the scary part is it has been in the low 80’s this week, scared to see what summer has in store.

Kansas City has a bit over 19" of rain since Oct. 1. So it will probably eventually dry out and begin a drought. Hay is selling for $140 a ton, and that's too much to make any money raising cattle!

View from Missile Site. Yes, Missile Site Rd. not far from Wolfman.

I’ve been taking it in stride and don’t mind the seasons at all. We just had 5” dumped on us yesterday and a spin in the Branson clearing snow was enjoyable and I finished it up with some drifting on the icy roads. [emoji16]

We are experiencing unusual excessive snow for Feb and we’re an inch from moving to #2 spot on the records chart for the month.

Already is here. The wind woke me up about 6am, howling. We got a rain event last night, now the wind. North of us in mid-michigan, it's a blizzard warning, snow and wind. Will be an interesting day, I'm sure.

I expect the standby gensets will be running today. I have 2. One for the house, one for the barns. House is LP, barn is diesel.

I have 22 rounds in the barn to date. All it cost me was the time and fuel to make it.

Didn't check the cash hay price lately here but I suspect it's up there as well.
