Agreed, we do all service on our Kubotas, pretty easy and LOTS cheaper.

$375.00 in Terre Haute Indiana. The dealer cautioned me that the 50 hour service be completed by the dealer to protect the warranty. After the initial service I would be welcome to service myself

My dealer said all they needed for a warranty claim was a receipt for the components used. I buy all my stuff from him with a 15 percent discount once per year, so no problem.

I think the warranty is kubota decision not a dealers choice.
No dispute there as my dealer was speaking of the Kubota warranty and covered two warranty issues with the full knowledge I do all my own maintenance.

Just before my warranties on any of my Kubotas expire my dealer calls to remind me to go over my machine to see if any issue need to be addressed and I sure don't think he's willing to eat the cost.

Just did the 50hr service on My L3901 Friday Myself. Not bad at all. the dealer told me to keep the receipts for the stuff purchased for it in case warranty needs arise. It cost me about $140. The dealer wants $325 for it.

Same here and one of mine is eight years old. The 2200 bought in 2003 went in for hydraulic lines, bent tie rods and trashed fan when I loaned it to a relative.

Ooooh, I hate it when that happens. If your "relative" is like mine, there wasn't even an offer to fix the damage!!!

Lesson learned. I will go do work for someone, but no one borrows my rig.

Sorry, back on topic :D
