My 4310 steering cylinder is leaking around the piston on end closest to the seat. I was wondering if there is an easy way to remove it? It looks like the radiator may have to be removed to get the pin out of one end. Has anyone done this?
Thanks
Hal

The pin drops out the bottom, there is a keeper plate with 2 bolts holding the pin in place.

According to the diagram and feeling up in there, the pin that is on end of steering cylinder rod has a piece of round bar welded on top so it won't come out the bottom. It is right underneath the radiator and there isn't enough room to lift the pin up. At least that is what I'm seeing. I was just wondering if there was a way to do it without unbolting radiator?

hb,

Can you unbolt the radiator while still keeping the hoses on (wet) and simply lift it up enough to clear the pin?
