I've had this little grey market tractor for about 9 months and used it with minimal issue. Today however that changed and I'm now afraid to move it for fear of killing the motor.

After cutting my yard about 2 acres pulling my 48" finish mower I notices puffs of smoke coming up from the motor. On closer inspection I saw a 1-1.5" block plug had popped out abit at the back just above that transmission flange. Pressurized gasses and oil were hissing out of the small gap. I know very little about this tractor beside how to start it, the original plan was to tear it down and rebuild over the winter however I put it to work as founds were tight.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for manuals, wiring diagrams and exploded views that would be great.

Thank you, I'll look them over. I'm worried I have bad blow by which pressurized the block and popped the rear seal plug. May be an expensive or time consuming fix

Well got a chance to go take a better look at the motor today. checked fluid levels in the rad and engine. thankfully the engine oil is not milky white but as black as black can be, popped the rad cap and could not see any visible coolant. I'm going to change the fluids push the seal plug back in and check blow by. if it super bad I'll be parking this for the summer and using the ride on mower....

After looking at the wiring diagram i notice my tractor has a few added option that down show up after a quick search i am assuming it is equipped with monroe-matic. Will need to research this more as none of electronic controls for the 3 pt work and i been pushing the button on the side of the solenoids

I just bought a ZEN NOH ZL1501DT. Is this this same as his mentioned above? What is the significance of the Z in the ZL? Is it possible I could also get the links to the manuals please? Thank you. Love all of the helpful people and advice here.

Here's some light reading to explain what the Z or zenoh mean :D The short answer is it's the same as the L1501 and is a Kubota ;)
