Delivered Friday night. Moved some pile of snow over the weekend. Was colder than -30 Saturday morning and started like a top with the block heater plugged in. Really like it so far. Need to make drift cutters for getting into the deep snow which I have a lot of.

Welcome!

Post lots of pics of your snow fighting efforts! We like 'em, especially us folks in Arizona. We go back and watch 'em in July!:D

(Pics upload easily on the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button below the main frame when you write a post... Lower-res pictures are all that upload so you may have to shrink the resolution a tad...)

WELCOME!!!

I should have taken some before pictures. I could barely get my four wheel drive half ton in the driveway.

I've noticed when I have the PTO engaged for the snow blower and the TPH raised all the way there's a nasty sounding noise that seems to be coming from the tractor. Should I avoid putting that kind of angle on the PTO shaft or would you guess that the shaft may not be cut to the correct length? Everything seems to work and sound ok as long as I avoid fully raising the TPH with the PTO engaged.

That is a nice tractor, TopesRule! Tools like that have a way of being subject to uses immediately upon delivery, it seems. Break her in well and enjoy the ride!

Could be several things, is your pto cover hitting anything at the height? And like you said - it could be a bind that you are placing it in with the length of the pto too. Take the PTO and raise it (off) see if you can measure the length accurately - then take it off and see if it will move MORE than the measured length - this will tell you if it is binding.:)

I suspect the shaft is too long. Need to take some measurements. I'm sure you can find instructions.
