I keep looking at a land plane with scarifiers, there are some without scarifiers. These look good but may not loosen soil enough to plant. Anyone tried these?

I'll be trying it soon. I'm hoping to pick up the plane this week. I read on another thread where a plane was used successfully with the blade set to 0.

I am in the process of re-doing my yard right now with a pulverizer. It's working very well so far. Waiting for it to dry out a bit more.

Fill the deep areas then rototill a few inches deep and then use a gill/pulverizer to level and prepair the seed bed.

I would vote for the little bit at a time method.

Can you post pics when it drys out?

I'm considering using a pulverizer along with my box blade to level mine out.
