You can build a free standing carport/ covered lean too for not much more than a cheap tent type cover that might blow away or collapse under snow. 24x16-$1,200. Or 24x12-$1,000

If you can build off of your existing garage, it would even be cheaper, as you have a solid building along the main attachment point. There***8217;s an added plus, you could cover the roll up door or man door if both to keep rain, sun, and snow off your entrances too
Wow nice set up! I would love to build something like that for my cargo trailer and truck (garage space is taken up with the Tractor, Polaris Ranger and wife's car).

Did you build that yourself, and if so, how long did it take (bear in mind, I'm no builder by trade lol).

I’m no builder either, but it’s easy to “stare and compare” go find the cover, carport, whatever you want to build, and start taking pictures. Look at the size of the beams, rafters, etc. I tend to overbuild a bit, but the supplies are way cheaper than the labor to pay Folks to build it for you. I had a buddy help me sheet the roof and hand up tin, as it’s tuff by yourself

You have a tractor to help you move and lift the heavy beams, and put them in place. I’m sure I saved a couple thousand in labor on each thing I build. 4 days on the small one, 6 on the larger one, not working till I collapse, just a good day’s work.

Well, since its a Ford, park the tractor inside...... Now if it were a Ram, that is a different story. Just kidding. Nice truck. You buy new, you gotta build a garage to park it in.
