B7100D gear, I don’t think it’s the throw out bearing

Hola,
Got a 7100D that is a little noisy when clutch is engaged. Doesn;t sound grumbly during disengagement, kind of like a;grounnnnchinnng noise when engaging a gear or PTO speed. Is there a chance I;d be able to get some grease
On the pilot bushing/bearing without having to split the tractor? Clutch feels great, no problems with getting into gear. Just that noise during engagement. Great little battle beast other than that.

A lot of times the noise is from a worn joint and connection that leads from the engine to the HST unit.
Check that joint for wear and or slop.

There should be a throw-out bearing zerk fitting that you access from the left side of the frame. Put it in neutral and move the tractor until it lines up. I had a noisy throw-out bearing I replaced over the summer. When I took it out, it had no play in it. So it was still good, just noisy.

The grease zert puts grease under the bearing holder, the piece that holds the bearing that slides one the output shaft. There is no way to actually grease a throw out bearing.
