Not exactly block heaters but I have lower radiator hose heaters installed in 2 of my B7100 tractors. Easy install just cut lower radiator hose remove about 2" and put the heater in. They work great and will heat the tractor very quickly.
Your B6100 should be the same as a B7100 as far as this install.

Wolfman, wouldn't this be the one Skippy1369 would want for his B6100?

No, I don't know why they list that it will fit it as there is no 3/4" threaded plug in that block.
The other heater has an adapter to install in the block to give it a 3/4" threaded port.
Now if it already had the port installed as they do with factory/dealer/aftermarket installed heaters, then that would be the right replacement heater! ;)

So the part that Wolfman suggested showed up. seems MyFarmParts decided to substitute the set up with with the adapter for the set up with the threaded plug... now i have to figure out how to get this returned to them and either the right one sent, or look for one of the heaters for the lower radiator piping.... UGH...guess i have to find a new project for the weekend...

Well that's just wrong!
I order one from them and it was the right one, it has the 3/4 threaded heater but it came with the freeze plug adapter in the bag too.
Sorry they messed that one up!

The unit that kubotasam showed might just be the ticket for my B5100.
It's a smaller engine, but I think this winter I will need something like that.
Any chance of getting more information on that rad hose heater ?

well, i just got around to pulling the lower rad hose. it looks to be 1 1/4 inner diameter. not a lot of space down there, but going to order a 1 1/4 lower rad hose heater and try putting that in. looks like the best option at this point...

I got one of those 1 1/4 block heaters for the lower rad hose - easy to install.
But it's rated at 375 watts, which I thought was way too much for that SMALL 12 HP engine.
So. I made up a electric cable that had a diode in line with one of the wires. That way I've cut down on the power - now runs about 100 watts which is plenty to heat up the engine.

You really don't need to do that, the hose line model has a thermostat built into it. ;)

Phaser, I would caution about the in block heater. I ordered the part that Wolfman suggested, but My Farm Parts substituted a newer version that has threads and no friction coupling. that will not work with the 6100. I had to return it and attempted to get the correct part, but they could not locate one. I ended up going to my local O'rielly Auto parts store and getting the 1 1/4 lower radiator hose model and installing that. seems to work just fine.....
