I have a kubota zero turn mower model ZG20. I cut a half acre and stopped to refuel. Filled tank and then engine would not turn over. The oil pressure light came on. Checked oil level - barely on dip stick. Brought oil to proper level - still would not crank - oil pressure light still on. HELP!

Sounds like a safety switch is not closed. The oil light should come on when the ignition is on and the engine isn't running. That likely has nothing to do with it not starting. Check all your levers/controllers so that they are in the proper position. Most newer equipment has so much stinking "safety" stuff on them, I'm surprised they ever start!

Betty are you hearing any noises? The clicking of the starter motor, a ticking sound perhaps, any 'buzzing' sounds?
Are you sure that the mower is disengaged and in neutral when attempting to start? Do you have headlamps and signals?

The brake safety switch was not closed. You were right. I found dirt and grass lodged behind the brake pedal. After releasing the brake pedal it could not move. I cleaned out all the dirt and grass. Problem solved.
