Now I'm just asking but does anyone know anything about the new Bob Cat line of tractors? They look good and price isn't all that bad. But they don't have a rally cool Group web page like "Orange Tractor Talk" buying a Kubota is worth the web group:)

Well no one would say anything on this so I went out and found out for myself. Compare a Kioti to a Kubota and you have a Bobcat. The Bobcat is a Kioti painted white. It is a better looking than a Kioti but every thing is made by Kioti and all the parts are the same.

I have always liked Bobcat skidsteers but I think Kubota has the tractor down pat. Better part availability, stronger service and a wider range of equipment that is proven tough and most important Bobcat doesn't have anything like Orange Tractor talk with Mr K. or Service Department Vic.

Long story short Kubota is the better of the Bobcat or Kioti in all I can see but it was fun looking over the compact market and testing driving other tractors. :)

I have considered leaving the dealership I'm working at and picking up a Kioti or Chinese tractor line but I don't think I could sell them knowing the dealer down the road (kubota) have a much superior product! Even considered Gray market sometimes but these new Kubota's are sooooooo nice! LOL

Sorry for being so late been working on my B6000 It was a Ct230 and 235 the sales rep showed me how they are made by the Kitoi folks. He was very good with all my questions and agrees that Kubota is the best one.....an Honest salesman...that threw me...LOL

Last I knew, Bobcat uses Kubota engines heavily in their skid steers and other equipment. I'm kind of surprised they didn't source out Kubota for their tractors too. maybe price was a selling point. I'd say stick to tried and true Kubota :D

I own a bobcat 1021 and have put many hours on my buddies Bx23s. Although I will agree Kubota has the better line up of accessories for the price difference and the specs the bobcat beats Kubota all day long in the subcompact world. The lift capacity is higher, the sub frame is superior, just the simple fact that the bucket is drilled for teeth makes it that much better. I could buy a Bobcat 1021 with backhoe for the price of the 2380 which you must upgrade to a 23x or 26x to have the backhoe attachment available and then your WAY above Bobcat pricing. I think you're going to see a lot of guys switching to Bobcat tractors now that they are building brand awareness in the tractor line.

Obviously Bobcatguy1988 is either suffering from loneliness or has buyers remorse.

Whenever I think of a Bobcat I think of rust. Just sayin. Seems to have been and might still be an issue with many of their offerings. Many years ago as a young man growing up in Western Pennsylvania we were always fighting rust on our vehicles. An empty Strohs can and a pop rivet gun was the weapon of choice. I have forgiven the Japanese for Pearl Harbor but my soul is still haunted by the rust.

I have a Kubota and been very happy with it, but I must say for the money I would not hesitate to buy Kioti.
I'm sure the kubota has better resale value...Only seen a few bobcats and never used one so can't say.

Bobcat was an Ingersoll Rand product and then was sold to Doosan Infracore. They have since split apart and sorta become separate companies, but still Chinese.

I priced out all the TLBs in this size last year, and bobcat lost on price and distance to a dealer.
You are comparing the next size up. The bx23s compares to the ct1025. If you are going to make the comment please compare apples to apples. You will still find that your 23s is more expensive as the ct1021 on up do not need the new subframe.

When I said this size, I was referring to the size I purchased.

I was interested that they came out with a tractor line (again) but when I heard it was a rebranded Kioti I lost interest. I'm sure Kioti is good but I was hoping for Bobcat to make their own and put their own stamp on it. They make good construction equipment, and their mowers are good too so I had high hopes.
