    BX2380 Front end loader issue

I experienced the same issue last year. The photo in your post looks like what I saw. The adjustment did not help. I had bent the loader stand when I took it off on uneven ground. I tried bending it back with ratchet straps without success. I resorted to drilling and tapping a hole about half...

    Another wheel spacer question. BX23S

Just an update - Yesterday I finally installed 1.4" Bro-Tek spacers on my BX1880 with the 54" mid mount mower. A little finiky getting the wheels on the studs with deck on but they fit with a little room to spare so 1.5" might fit this configuration.

BX 1880 Propeller Shaft Front Boot Replacement

I spoke with the insurance provider. The damage is accidental damage and is covered. They sent a claim form to complete and the dealer will have to complete an estimate for the repair This will not be as painful as it first appeared it was going to be.

BX 1880 Propeller Shaft Front Boot Replacement

This makes it seem like a much more manageable repair. I spoke with another dealer about an hour away and they estimate 6 hours and their approach was the same as B737 and said they had to move the engine forward to gain access. They have never put one through KTAC, but thought it would be...

BX 1880 Propeller Shaft Front Boot Replacement

Good thought. Yes I have KTac insurance. I’ll call and ask if it is covered.

BX 1880 Propeller Shaft Front Boot Replacement

I appreciate the information. I guess the dealer was right when he said it was a 2 day job. Just hard to swallow paying $2,000 to replace a $5 part.

BX 1880 Propeller Shaft Front Boot Replacement

Thanks very much for the reply and the photos. Looks like it is beyond the equipment I have on hand to tackle the replacement. Do you have an idea how much time it might take a dealship to complete the repair?

BX 1880 Propeller Shaft Front Boot Replacement

On the weekend the tractor developed a rattle/ticking strange sound coming from below my feet. Assumed a branch must have gotten caught up when I was cleaning up brush after the hurricane and was the cause of the noise. I had to remove the mower deck to get under and see what was going on. No...

    Another wheel spacer question. BX23S

I am having the same thought about my BX1880 with the 54" MMM and turf tires. There seems to be less than 1 inch clearance. Is anyone with an BX1880 and the 54" MMM using spacers?

BX1860 - Rear PTO While Off Seat?

On the 1880 you have to set the park brake. With the PTO off, get off the seat and lift it. Select rear pto only then engage while the tractor is running. Adjust RPM to get desired PTO speed. Just guessing it is the same for the 1860

Caution when removing the LA344 on the BX1880

I have watched this and other similar videos. I am sure I must have gotten the weight of the tractor on the stand to have bent it. It sure looks easy in the video and if I had a paved drive or parking area maybe that would help. The first time I took the loader off was on level grass. Big...

Caution when removing the LA344 on the BX1880

Here are some Pics of the stand. The bungee is there for tension to keep the linkage from reversing when putting the stand up

Caution when removing the LA344 on the BX1880

Maybe this is what happened to me. I've had my first tractor and loader for about a month. Yesterday I had to struggle for about 45 minutes get the loader back on after mowing. When I finally did and went to lock the stand in place the right side linkage was reversed and pointing up. I got off...
