FIXED - Vague control feeling in BH77 Backhoe

This actually happened to me as well. The linkage fell off as I was using it in the field. All of my linkages were loose. I also punched the last thread on the bolt so the nuts won't come off. Tightened and went on my way. I'm surprised it's so common.

Drive Train warranty,,, we pay 25%??

Re: Drive Train warranty,,, we lay 25%?? I'm in agreement with Flip. Shops use towels/gloves/grease/wd40 etc so why would they eat the cost when you're the customer that made them use it. Otherwise they'd just up their hourly rate by x amount to cover it.

    The day my BX died.

If you find the SVL that useful you defiantly didn't have enough tractor to accomplish your tasks at hand. That being said I wish my neighbors would buy one so when my 2650 isn't enough I could borrow it! Side note: I was totally hoping for some carnage pics of a totaled tractor... am I the only...

B2650 Owners - Anyone Tow Their Campers Around Property ?

I move my neighbors 4500lb camper as well. No issues. The biggest issue with the 3pt that I've ever seen is that when backing up the 3pt doesn't have a "power down" option. If the trailer for some reason wants to lift the tongue up it will do so. On a camper I don't see this as an issue compared...

Best Tractor For Us? Another B2650 / L2501 choice

Ah well maybe weight is an issue for you. I see you now mentioned that in an above post. My B will mow 'anywhere' within reason. My zero turn will get stuck an in instant. The B won't get stuck but there will be marks left to deal with.

    2WD with loader?

Put your Kubota in 2wd and try all loader work. Not 1-1 but might give you an idea.

Best Tractor For Us? Another B2650 / L2501 choice

Speaking from having the B2650 I think the L will be a better fit for you. If you aren't considering the front snowblower I don't see why you're still looking at the B. The main reason I went with the B is because of the weight. In Indiana it's flat and wet. My property doesn't enjoy a heavier...

    Increased power in my L2501

A certain really long thread ending in a dumpster fire comes to mind.

    small chainsaw recommendations

Completely agree. I bought this saw for my father as well. Something he can use to clean up little stuff that falls. If something big needs to be cleaned up he leaves it to the young folk (me) to get out our bigger saws. He much prefers to drink a beer and "supervise".

    Old and dumb

This is what I try to do as well. If you're in low 4x4 in mud/sand I've still moved a little bit before I noticed it because I expected resistance and was in low. I agree though 99% of the time this solves my forgetfulness.

    What RPM's do you use

Only thing I wouldn't like is that just adds more things to break!

    What RPM's do you use

This is basically what I do as well. Sounds like I'm not far off from others. I just need to make sure I'm not lugging the engine which I was a culprit of before doing some research.

    What RPM's do you use

I have a b2650 and I was poking around the internet the other day looking for what rpm range is used for mowing/FEL work. I grew up around old farmers and they always taught me to use their equipment at the lowest RPM needed to get the job done. I feel like this isn't true anymore. I was mowing...

Buying a Kubota tractor and building a Camp

Glad you decided to pick up that BX. This is perfect advice. Use it until you know exactly what it can't do. At that price you can probably trade it in and not lose much money after a few years use. Then you'll know exactly what you want when you get a bigger tractor.

    Partially Folding a ROPS

Can confirm on my b2650 with the ROPS all the way down it'll hit my 3pt top link.

    Brand New L2501 sits crooked?

FWIW when I got my 2650 I moved a huge stump I'd dug out and thought I bent the loader. Did about all the same things and in the end I came out with the same conclusion. It's a little off, but when you're using it you never notice. Not like back dragging with 1/2 off will ever make a difference...
