    Glock G40 10mm

A lot of “advice” from people who aren’t educated about the 10mm Auto, don’t reload, or don’t shoot Glocks... but I guess that’s to be expected when a tractor forum is asked about firearms. ;) While I agree that Glocks aren’t visually appealing (I’m not a Glock guy either), I also know that...

    Glock G40 10mm

You have to realize the that what you are calling the “average factory loads” are well below the original (and intended) Norma specs for the 10mm Auto. What you are referring to as “higher power” loads is actually closer to the original spec for 10mm. The factories are selling detuned 10mm and...

    Glock G40 10mm

The OP is asking about buying a G40 for hunting. Some of you are pretty far off in the weeds on this subject. The beauty of the 10mm is the vast array of loads available, anything from 110gr to 220gr projectiles with velocities from 850-1800+ ft/s and muzzle energy nearly 800ft/lbs. You don’t...

    Glock G40 10mm

Comparing two factory loads hardly constitutes good data. Saying there’s “not a lot of difference” is simply misleading as the majority of factory produced 10mm loads are low to medium power. Few manufacturers load 10mm to its full potential and Federal isn’t one of them.

    Glock G40 10mm

I have a G20 (10mm) with a 6” barrel & slide mounted mini RDS that I’ve used for hunting & plinking. It’s a great gun & the 10mm is a great cartridge. The 10mm is a “reloaders caliber” as your options really open up for it if you reload. Full power 10mm loads is where it really shines. Factory...

    Snowblower Chute Mod-Linear Actuator

Not sure if you have the electric chute rotation or not, but Kubota sells a dual switch housing that clamps right on the hydro lever. This puts the switches in the same location as the raise/lower function. I know you already mounted your switches but this gives you another option in case you...

    Snowblower Chute Mod-Linear Actuator

Thanks, glad I could help! I was in your shoes doing this same research not so long ago. Yes, the bottom bolt is pretty much centered & the top bolt is just to the right of center. When fully open, the top hole is at about 12:30 to the top of the arc. Of course there’s other areas that will...

    Snowblower Chute Mod-Linear Actuator

I just installed one on a BX5450 a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to maximize chute travel while not bottoming out on either end of the slots. Here’s where I ended up mounting the actuator.
