I wonder if I can return it ... and exchange it for something better.

Well, I've ran both. In the size of equipment we're dealing with on this site, a rear blade more than a box, admittedly. Biggest difference I can think of is the blade has no rippers of any kind. A rear blade with a tail wheel added does a pretty good job of pulling dirt and making grade...

I wonder if I can return it ... and exchange it for something better.

We built the side plates (wings) on the blade I posted pics of out of scrap we had around. I am now where I can get some pics of the side plates on the Land Pride blade,. but they attach to existing holes on the ends of the blade moldboard. I think its 3 bolts there, plus the support arm takes...

I wonder if I can return it ... and exchange it for something better.

This is a Rhino blade I use on a MX. I don't have pictures handy of the Land Pride we use behind a L3560, but the concept is the same. With the side plates on it will haul quite a lot of dirt. The tail wheel really makes it a much nicer unit to do more precision grading, but if you have a small...

I wonder if I can return it ... and exchange it for something better.

I didn't read all the responses. Forgive me if this has been mentioned already though. I haven't got pictures at the moment, but hope to when I get more time. I knew I wanted a back blade for jobs I had coming up. I bought a Kubota RBT blade for my 3560. Has a hydraulic controlled tail wheel...

Spreading fertilizer, lime, and seed together...

We've broadcast literally thousands of acres over the years on our farm with a seed/ fertilizer blend. Everything from cereal grains to oilseed radish and clover. Very common, very effective if the applicator is conscientious. The fertilizer/ lime/ seed thing has me kind of surprised. Never...

    4 in 1 bucket

I have both a 4 in 1 as well as a grapple for a L3560. The 4 in 1 does most of the things I need it to do. Roots and brush is its downfall. I have a fair amount of roots and brush to clean up, and its worth having a root grapple around for those jobs. Otherwise, I really like the 4 in 1. Fact...

    PTO driven sprayer question

Never considered the return hose diameter would have been too small from the factory- but it does make sense. Glad you made contact with the company, and sounds like they have the solution for you. Their willingness to fix the problem is a sign of good customer service IMO.

    PTO driven sprayer question

Sorry I didn't get back right away. Storing with antifreeze, as mentioned, makes sure there's no chance of a damaging freeze event. Frozen water in a spraying system- anywhere in the system- is likely the number 1 maintenance issue. After cleaning a sprayer the final time for the year, we like...

    PTO driven sprayer question

As Fido Farms said: nothing at all really inherently wrong with a roller pump. When comparing with a centrifugal pump, a roller will put out more pressure but less volume. You really should have low volume requirements for the size pump you have vs the boom and nozzles you have. The roller is...

    PTO driven sprayer question

Where you describe your normal start up procedure: I question if step 2 is causing some issues. With water in the tank, and above the pump, you should be able to start the PTO pump and it should prime. It will (and should) send all the fluid back to the tank via the by pass valve with the spray...

Brush forks on a 4 in 1 bucket?

Yes, I have a M125X that my grapple goes on. The two tractors are 6 hours apart via a trailer, and I don't have a trailer to haul the bigger one. Never had a 4 in 1 before, studied it for quite a while before I bought. For my uses, hoping it'll work fine. I could (I think) rent a grapple in...

Brush forks on a 4 in 1 bucket?

I have a L 3560 with a 4 in 1 bucket already. Need to get some brush picked up and moved for roads in a fresh cut woodlot. I know a grapple would be ideal, but not in the cards right now. Also realize a 4 in 1 bucket isn't the best for brush pickup, but better than doing it by hand. Wondering...

Tool Tube I've not seen here......

I'm across the Thumb from Harbor Beach, over near the east side of the Saginaw Bay . I have friends from Harbor Beach, though. Guy I went to school with owns the pharmacy down town. Nice town. Its a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to paint it!;)

Tool Tube I've not seen here......

Should have been more specific. I have a whole wad of the black ones around on different implements. I think all from the same manufacturer. I get them from Agri-supply usually. They typically don't have the belt hook thingie like the one I linked to, though- and they're not orange! :) I don't...

    L3560HST vs L4060HST?

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Just some background on me, not sure if that makes any difference though on what I end up buying. Grew up on and ran a cash crop farm. Used to larger iron than what I'm asking about. Health reasons forced us to quit farming 10 years ago and rent the land...

    L3560HST vs L4060HST?

I know this has been somewhat addressed before. Still have some questions I guess. Heres what I need to do: 1. Gravel driveway maintenance at 2 commercial facilities 30 miles apart. Haven't decided which combination of tools I need, that can come later. 2. Also have a 30 acre woodlot which...
