    BX Snow Cab

This is by far the best cab build I’ve come across. Does this forum purge attachments after some time? I ask because I don’t wanna lose the pics in this thread like so many other forums you just get broken links for images in older threads. Maybe I’ll pull out the informative posts and pics...

    BX Snow Cab

First off, AWESOME build and I will absolutely be using your experience when I build my own! You say it's far from perfect, but it's a hell of a lot closer than most any other DIY cab builds I've seen! I'm curious, have you run this in cold weather yet? And if so how is the fogging/icing of the...

    Snowblower Chute Mod-Linear Actuator

If you look at the 2nd pic, I just drilled a hole through that spiral shaft big enough for a small bolt. That’s how the factory manual crank hooks up too. The shaft is s/s so I couldn’t weld on it or I might’ve done something different. Full rotation one way is 10s. Real world you’re only...

    Snowblower Chute Mod-Linear Actuator

I added a 4" stroke linear actuator for the deflector and a surplus power seat motor for chute rotation. I tapped into the aux power source at the rear of the BX and fashioned a switch box attached to the ROPS and used momentary reverse polarity rockers. I put in a 4-wire trailer pigtail so I...

Nah.... crickets.... I haven't heard back from the dealer either...

    BX2380 Armrest Adjustment

How the heck do you adjust the "adjustable" armrests on the 80 series? They have the one screw on the back of the armrest, but that doesn't do anything but change the tension of the swivel. The stops up and down are part of the actual arm. My left armrest is lower than my right, which is driving...

    Poly Cutting Edge for BX?

Wow.... sometimes the simplest of solutions! $43Cdn at Home Depot for a 12' length 5-1/2" wide... I can get 3 edges outta that. Certainly worth a shot.

    Poly Cutting Edge for BX?

Looks cool, but it'd run me over $480 Cdn... and that's me going over the border to bring it across!

    Poly Cutting Edge for BX?

Does it drill easy and you can countersink your bolt heads easily?

    hydraulic chute for snowblower

I'd be curious to see pics of what you built here beaterboss. I have rear blower all manual with no rear remotes on my bx2380. I'll be looking at an electric solution as well. The JD dealer (when I was looking at a 1023) quoted $1,600 to work up electric actuators on their Frontier blower!!!

Nice. I was on their site today poking around.

    Poly Cutting Edge for BX?

I did a search but didn't see this discussed too much. I have a rear-mount blower but will use the bucket to clear up dustings or really slushy crap this winter. I have a paved driveway and was wondering if anybody on here has put on poly or rubber cutting edges on the the FEL bucket.... and if...

    First Car

1988 Pontiac Sunbird Safari station wagon. It had flip up headlights like the SE version. Ooooh! My Dad bought it new in ‘88, my sis got it in ‘94 and I got it in ‘96 for $400. Then I sold it to my uncle, he sold it back to my sister, then she traded it in at a dealer to lease a Sentra. Then I...

    Potential New Owner...

Good to know. I’ll check all fluids and tire pressures to make sure they did a proper PDI. It sounds like your dealer kinda $hit the bed preparing that rig for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Potential New Owner...

Thanks for the honest and in-depth review. I’ll definitely keep an eye on the items you mentioned. My yard is still too wet to actually get out and use it. It would probably sink half way up the rims! I don’t seem to have the first four issues unless they appear over time. And I went over it...

    Trailering your tractor

Congrats! I can't wait to get mine next week! Helpful tip.... You should always cross your straps over. Right strap on the tractor ties over to the left of your trailer, etc. The higher the mounting points on the tractor the more important that becomes. You'd be surprised how much even a...

Tie down recs and loacation for BX

Good job! I went from a "small" 6x12 trailer to my current tandem 7x16 and find it's way easier to back up. I have a 20' truck pulling a 20' overall length trailer and after some practice I can whip that thing around a crowded Walmart parking lot no problem! You'll be a pro in no time. :-)

    Opinions on my BX build

Oh, also Kubota now has 0% financing on implements as a stand-alone purchase (at least in my area). Yeah, there's probably an "admin" fee.... but it was nice not to feel too pressured to "buy everything you need NOW to get the financing deal".
