    Yes they do restrict back and forth movement. I use this tractor as my primary mower but will be removing the deck for winter but would prefer to not have remove the brackets. There should be a way to do this without taking them off. Possibly tractors with brackets require the bent arms?

    Here are more pics of the tractor with the lift arms I purchased. It is 2wd 4 lug in the front. I think the previous owner just used it to cut grass. I have a rear scraper blade that I would like to do some minor driveway snow removal with this winter.
