Anyone use their bucket to lift the front end for cleaning??

It’s no problem at all. I would just suggest using some jack stands or blocks under the wheels. As bleed down occurs in most tractors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bx2380 rubber smell

Thanks Dave. My first thought was just normal break in time. Figured it was worth consulting the “orange crowd of knowledge” just to be sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bx2380 rubber smell

For clarity, this is on a brand new tractor with 7 hours and the first use of the mmm. I pulled the mower deck today. Removed belt. Checked all pulleys. Made sure everything had grease. Belt didn’t have any shiny spots. Everything looked great. Maybe I just started the PTO with rpms too high. I...

Is there a standard way to hook up grapple function?

Nothing in the grapple manual about hose layout. Just says hook up hoses. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there a standard way to hook up grapple function?

I had the same curiosity. I set mine opposite your description. I was thinking curl/keep material and dump/release material. Not sure if there is a standard. I’m getting ready to head to the garage, I’ll check the manual and see if it says anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bx2380 rubber smell

It was finally spring in Indiana today so I got to mow for the first time. I noticed a slight burning rubber smell after engaging the mid PTO a few times. Standard break in? Does the PTO have a clutch? Recommended rpm for engaging PTO? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Opinions on my BX build

Also, the model number you listed for rear blower is an old model. New one for the bx would be sb1051. And I think 17.7 vs 18 hp is irrelevant and will throw snow as needed. I don’t think any of the mower decks are self leveling. Unless they mean that the deck stays level at all heights after...

    Opinions on my BX build

Based on the amount of dirt work, I might recommend r4 tires instead of turfs. Or get 2 sets of wheels/tires if you really want turfs for mowing. Depending on the amount of snow you get should determine the blower needs. I would agree with most that a front mount snow blower is the easiest to...

    Tractor delivery day!

Funny you say that Ray. I’ve been saving a few downed limbs for a couple weeks in anticipation of the grapple. I’ve been leery of the Land Pride grapple, as most people don’t speak highly of it. Initial thoughts are good. But only time will tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tractor delivery day!

My new bx2380! Really too wet here to be out playing, but I couldn’t help myself. Put ruts in the yard and mud on the tires! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bagger for BX2380

Hey 2 bears. Check out the “Kubota bx’er network” on Facebook. I asked the same question there. Lots of variety of opinions. I like the idea of keeping it Kubota, but from the videos I’ve seen it looks like a pia to install/remove. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Foam tire fill

In my experience foam filling is really expensive and rough riding. I don’t know about “tyrfil” though. I always recommend using slime or equivalent to my mowing/tractor customers. Only thing it doesn’t help with is large cuts. In some cases foam filling is so permanent that you have to buy new...

    Tractor Tire Swap-Out

Re: Tractor Tire Sap-Out I’ve seen that bottle jack method and it works well. The tool the big truck guys use is called a duckbill hammer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
