    L4060HST vs L4060HST-LE

ROPS? The only mechanical differences are the lack of some features, such as cruise, extendable 3pt links, etc. They’re the same tractor and can be make “non LE” with very few parts.

Homestead Pinnacle Series Root Grapple (72 inch) Review

If you think the homestead is stronger than the EA then I’m afraid you didn’t do your homework and didn’t spend much time comparing. One look at the lid and hinge design and you can see how much weaker the homestead lid is. They use only one tine for their hinge, which makes it extremely prone...

B2650 - Check out my new LED lights

Looks good. I've been wanting to add LEDs to the front since either my bucket or grapple is always in the way.

    Landscape rake mod

Love the idea. I use a rake in my woods as well but often spin it around the other way so it doesn't catch roots and angle it just a little bit. It seems to spring the stuff right off the path. I thought of mounting a QA hitch to a skit steer plate so I could use implements that way because...

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

I like it. I’ve heard of such attachments and there are buckets made with something like that already built on.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

Someone once said to me that you can incorrectly operate a piece of machinery a hundred times and never have an issue or you could do it once and break it. You just never know.

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

One thing to keep in mind is these force numbers do not take into account the leverage and arc of lifting or curling.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

Thanks guys. I try and ignore them. It’s just hard sometimes.

    Box blading with roots.

Are you getting caught by the rippers? I assume not just the box blade. What’s your long term goal? Moving material or just smoothing it out?

    replace fel hydraulic line

I think my manual states to the run the system back and forth several times to self bleed the system. You could crack the fitting and bleed a little if you want but be careful if one cylinder wants to start moving before the other one.

    Boosted my hydro pressure. BX23S

I can***8217;t believe it was set that low. I think my B3300SU was around 2050 factory.

    Aftermarket Kubota Parts

Yes you can try Messicks or another dealer. Does your dealer usually give you decent prices on parts or do they charge list?

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

Yes I have. I was actually at the gravel pit a couple weeks ago and looked closely. I knew they had one large one but didn’t know how it attached until I looked. I think one large oversized cylinder would help regardless.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

Actually, if anyone is willing to help and come to my defense, please post some positive comments on the video and maybe even hit the like button. Or post some rebuttals to the negative comments. Getting so much negativity towards Kubota. I don’t understand.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

I would agree. It’s amazing how many people do not understand the physics. You should read some of the comments on my video. Flat out mean and negative. Most of them are saying it’s because Kubota is junk, or the tractor is too small, etc.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

Basically you don’t want it curled forward enough that your cylinder is fully, or close to fully, extended. A little tilted forward is fine. Anything pointed straight down or backwards is too far and increases the risk.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

The back of my buckets are angled and work decent for back dragging also. It doesn’t work well for packed material. I do use it that was in float sometimes.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

Thanks!! That’s what I was hoping for. If this saves other people from the same damage then it was worth it.

The dangers of backdragging - broken curl cylinder

I have the snow blade for my RTV and it’s the same as the ones that connect to the tractors. I’ve thought about buying the plow subframe so I could use it on the tractor. It has locks on it so it can be used as a dozer blade and not roll with the springs. I know they make blades for the SSQA but...

    DIY quick attach bracket

Not sure what size your tractor is but the QA for my tractor is only 60-65#. It***8217;s worth hacking the bucket for the ability to have a universal setup. Nice job on yours though.
