Good thinking, that's a good place to start anyway. Now to find the time. Hopefully I can pull it apart some night this week. Thanks guys.

    B7100HST with RC60-71B making a noise

NIW thanks for the suggestion as always. Any quick or easy way to isolate which one it could be or to tell yay or nay without ripping each spindle apart?

    B7100HST with RC60-71B making a noise

Started in the fall last year. I forgot about it over winter but now that the MMM is back on and I cut the grass twice I remember. Deck is making a slipping/rubbing noise in heavier/wet grass. No noticeable loss of rpm in the blades (cut is still smooth and clean) but every so often in heavy...

    B7100 Radiator drain plug question

Yep. When I replaced my rad and hoses I sprayed the petcock with wd-40 and uses channel locks to very gently wiggle it back and forth until it broke loose and turned freely to open. Oh, and I was worried because it didn't look like the stream of coolant exiting the rad would clear the front...

    1000 hours

Spent four hours yesterday going over the B7100 doing maintenance. Greased everything, put new freshly sharpened blades on the rc-75b deck, fixed a hydraulic leak from the little rectangular box on the right side (still can't figure out what that thing is, but it doesn't leak now), changed...

B7100 HST Rear wheel hubs and rad

Finally found the time to swap the original hubs out for the new style. The process was super simple and the new style hubs fix the wheel wobble entirely. Thanks for all the help and advice fellas. Now there's a hydraulic leak I'm gonna see about next weekend I think. Hopefully just an o ring lol.

B7100 HST Rear wheel hubs and rad

I really hate saying this, and this isn't the way I was raised to be, but right now I've got more money than time available and tools at my disposal. I opted to order the new style hubs that NIW so helpfully located for me on ebay. They should be here next week. Just wanted to update and I'll...

B7100 HST Rear wheel hubs and rad

Before I order, how sure are you that those are the correct parts. The B7100 isn't listed under the fitment description. No disrespect intended, and I'm sure you know what you're talking about, I just want to double check to be sure before I blow $300 lol. Thanks again for your input and advice.

B7100 HST Rear wheel hubs and rad

Sorry it took a few days to get back to you guys, work has been insane. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. I have no idea why I didn't think of taking the rad to a local shop, but I didn't. That's a great thought, and I'll definitely be looking into that before I shell out the cash for a...

B7100 HST Rear wheel hubs and rad

Recently acquired a good condition B7100HST with a belly mower and rear blade for use around my not too large property. 900 some hours on the machine, and overall it's in decent shape for a 30ish year old tractor. I did ok price-wise I think, but I figured that in the first few weeks of...
