One downside I found is that I can’t fold the canopy back in order to get the tractor into the barn now. Going to have to figure that one out somehow..

My daughter and I took a road trip yesterday and picked up the snowblower. It is a monster. It is rated for cat one or cat 2, had to change out the mounts to cat one when I got it home, it runs fine dry, now to wait to try it in production. Just ordered a reversible toggle for the chute...
I have been looking for a rear PTO snowblower for my L2501. Found a used one for sale for $1100 that is about 120 miles from me. It is a Loftness 661DTS. They say it is for a 25-60hp tractor. What issues, if any could the 24hp 2501 run into with it? New to the 3 pt snowblower attachments...
It splits dry pine very well. We go to our cabin in the mountains where there is an over abundance of deadfall, cut it into 4-6ft lengths, load it on our 18’ flatbed trailer, bring it back, split it, and then cut it into stove lengths anywhere from 10-16”. It’s easier to split the long lengths...
Nope, we aren’t there when it is covered with snow, if we are it is on snowmobile’s so it doesn’t matter. Its an unmaintained road in the winter.

These guys are my neighbors in town, they actually travelled 3 hours to help out with this project. Good neighbors indeed!

We have a small cabin on a couple of historical patented mining claims that we own and use a a recreational getaway. We have been fording the creek to get to the cabin and decided it was time to put a proper crossing in. We used some Grade 1 railroad ties, an old cattle guard, pit run rock...
I have two echo Timberwolves. I loved the first one so much, I got another to use with my chainsaw sawmill. They are less expensive but same quality as the big two. Great saws.

You cant beat Kubota insurance on the unit. Your homeowners wont cover a lot of stuff the Kubota will, ie, being away from home with it when something happens, stupidity, etc... you may want to reconsider that.
Did some more work this past weekend, in 3 days probably did what would have taken us 5 weekends without the tractor. Moved about 25 tons of gravel to build a fire zone around the fire pit we built, as well as repair the mud holes left over from this winter in our road. Expanded our dog yard...
I have found that it is pretty easy to see the bucket with the new sloped hood design on our 2501. I can attest to how dangerous our old Jubilee was though. I had to jump start it one time, and forgot to take it out of gear, and was standing up to run the battery jump pack, as soon as it fired...
