    L Series Tire Trade

Hi all, I'm looking to trade for a set of turf tires on my rig. I have had R4's loaded with rimguard. They are excellent for almost everything except driving on a lawn. I am nearing the end of my yard renovation, and would like to lighten the tractor and reduce compaction as much as possible...

    R3 tire on L2501

Thanks a bunch for the pricing! That is not too bad considering it’s a full set of rims. How do the turfs hold up to puncturing? These R4s I have hold up really good in that sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    R3 tire on L2501

I am considering changing my tires out once most of the heavy work is done on my yard. I am looking to reduce the impact my tractor makes on the turf. I was hoping someone had experience with this on a standard L. My rear tires are loaded with rim guard. If I make the switch, I would lose that...

Sundown Flail on L2501 Hammer Help?!?

Hammers on, and much smoother. Ordered replacements for the grass knives too should I ever want to change em out. Definitely has a little more rotating inertia with these on. Have to adjust the roller down, and I’m back in action. Thanks again, and happy mowing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sundown Flail on L2501 Hammer Help?!?

Ok, sounds good. Any suggestions on flipping this beast to change the hammers out? I tried disconnecting the top link and drive shaft and lifting it with the 3 point arms, but it did not go high enough. I think I can flip it with a chain and the loader, but I could see things going very wrong...

Sundown Flail on L2501 Hammer Help?!?

So the dealer that sells these can get new hammers or knives. I definitely need to raise the cutting height with the roller, and possibly lower the skids. The primary use for the flail will be clearing brush and briars from my property, and possibly doing a little mowing if I ever get grass to...

Sundown Flail on L2501 Hammer Help?!?

Thanks everyone. These are foreign to me, and I have no experience setting them up. I literally picked this up yesterday, and put it to work. I did not really look into the adjustments. I did not really cut anything larger than 2", but I did hit a couple hidden rocks, and a cement block. I think...

Sundown Flail on L2501 Hammer Help?!?

Hello, I just picked up a flail for my tractor in nearly new condition as a trade. It is a sundown? No real information online about this company. I am posting to see if anyone in the community could point me in the right direction for finding some hammers or “duck feet”. It currently has the...

Ride it hard, and put it away wet. Mine has not flinched at the abuse yet. Forks are key. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BH77 seat for Grand L3560 when ordering

I have my seat at the highest setting (6’6”-260). It’s tight, but honestly I like it. I would rather have a tight operator station, and a good angle of departure. I can get thorough some rough ground on my set up without the hoe hanging up. If it were any further back, I would be very limited...

HST+ gear setting when using BH77 backhoe

I like to leave it in gear. It keeps you from rolling around, and if you have the cruise control, you can move forward from the backhoe seat using the cruise lever. It is an issue if you need to back up at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Advice for stump grinders

I have used my WG24 on a few stumps now, and it seems solid. It does a great job at getting below grade, and has shown no signs that is was too much for my little L2501. The worst part is trying to see the grinding wheel to gauge the depth of cut. I am looking at putting a mirror on, and if that...

    Advice for stump grinders

I just took delivery of a wg24 yesterday. I have not hooked it up, but first impressions are good so far. The packaging was very sturdy, and the machine looks to have a nice fit and finish. I have a L2501, and I felt as though that was the least amount of PTO HP that would run this. It does look...

    New BH77 Backhoe - help.

Check the throw on all your back hoe controls before you take delivery on anything. Mine were all screwed up, and it was easier to fix it than fight..that is kinda the line dealers will walk with little problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Attachment For My L2501

You can raise the seat. That helped a little, but I agree. It’s cramped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Attachment For My L2501

If you have a garage, look into a dolly for the back hoe. Makes hooking back up very easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
