How do you tie/secure your tractor to trailer / front or backwards with canopy?

I've used HD ratchet straps for years. I bought my most recent set at Tractor Supply and never had any issues with them. In fact, I drove to Tennessee yesterday to pick up my new L3901. It was a 5 hour drive using those straps and they stayed tight the entire trip. Secure it correctly and...

    Landpride 1260 blade nut

Best bet to get those nuts off..... 1. Go to Tractor Supply and get a 18 inch 3/4 breaker bar, 8 inch extension, and 1 11/16 socket, 4 foot cheater pipe 2. Acetylene torch - get bolt cherry red 3. Use cheater + breaker bar to pop them loose. Used this method to get them off my...

    trailer tires

I put a set of Deestones on my 16 ft. trailer a few years ago. I believe they are a dedicated trailer tire. So far they have wore like iron and hold a very heavy load. They are Chinese, but I honestly can't complain about them. I'd buy them again.

New work lights on my L4310

That's a great idea. I have been eyeing a set of those at Tractor Supply. Good job! I like the pigtail plug in.

    New Blades on RCR2560

I replaced the blades on my LP RCR2560 yesterday morning. I bought the cutter used so the blades were showing some wear and needed to be sharpened, so I decided it was time for new ones. I soaked the bolts in PB Blaster last week and they wouldn't budge. I tried a few days later with a 3/4...

    Diesel

My local service station sells "Off Road" fuel, but it tends to be stale, so i use the on road fuel. A few cents more, but the engines like it better. I also use Power Service in the gray bottle. A few ounces at each fill up keeps it running smooth.

    Oil Changes and filters

I changed the oil and filters a few weeks ago on both the JD and Kubota. I also changed the gear oil and greased everything in both rotary cutters. I do this every year regardless of how many hours. Ironically, I was at 97 hours on the Kubota, so I changed it anyway. To me, oil and filters...

    New Land Pride Tiller Problem

I feel your pain. I typically am not impressed with service work simply because they always seem to do it half a--ed. I'm either tightening a bolt that was left loose or painting a scratch that was not there previously....it's just the "new" way of the world...it seems like there is no pride...

    Finishing Mower Noise

If you can hear the mower over the tractor, I would suspect something was wrong. My old woods makes a whirring sound, like a loud rush of wind, basically just the sound of the blades....no mechanical noise. Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk

    Little Dump Trailer

Haha. I bought one of those trailers off a guy for $25 a few years ago. The only thing I've used it for is pulling my daughter and dog around our land. Thing was practically new when I got it....:D. May need to use it more often.

    Rcr 1860

I also wanted to add that the slip clutches are easy to work on. Mine were frozen due to weather and lack of adjustment, but after disassembly and a paint scraper to separate the plates, it's like new. I have used both shear pins and slip cluches, the key is to pay attention to what you're doing.

    Rcr 1860

I was about to purchase a 1860 for my l3830 when I ran across a 2560. Alot heavier unit than the 1860 and the 3830 pulls it with no problem. The slip clutch will work just fine if it is adjusted correctly regardless of the tractors hp.

King Kutter Side Discharge Finish Mower Restoration.

That turned out great. I like the color match....great minds think alike:D I've done a few of these over since I've bought my land. I can't justify the price of a new one when there is still alot of life left in an older unit for alot less. There is some TLC and elbow grease required, but I...

How do you secure a brush hog for maintenance/repairs

I had to replace the gearbox on my landpride cutter I purchased a few months back. I kept it attached to the tractor and lowered it onto (4) three ton jack stands which were very solid. I always go around and hit each stand with a short piece of 4x4 to make sure they are secure before i roll...

New Purchase - Land Pride RCR2560

Thanks to everyone who viewed my project. I have done a few similar to this, but the best part is saving some money in the long run...until my next project comes along. ;)

New Purchase - Land Pride RCR2560

Step 3: Completion. Finally got it all back together this afternoon. I'm liking the inboard pins. I gained a few inches of clearance around the rear tires. Seems alot easier to hook up, too. Haven't really cut anything except a few leaves in the backyard...but I'm sure it will do just...
