Thanks for your response, I was actually hoping that 44ftlbs was correct and thanks for the bolt size torque rule of thumb that makes alot of sense. My bolts are 3/4"NC thread so 44 will be great.

I am assembling the above quick hitch and the directions say to torque the main pivot point bolts to 440 ftlbs is this correct or a typo, has anyone done this and if you did what did you use to do it?Thank you for your response.
