    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

I'm glad you got it! I don't remember issues with the spacer sliding on the shaft, But I removed the shaft to change the bearing ( which I didn't need to and should have done it like you did) Good job👍

    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

I did not cut it and I don't recommend that. If anything drill a small hole in the seal and insert a wood type screw (course thread) and pull it out with the screw. I don't recall an issue with pulling the shaft. I pulled the shaft to change the bearing but my old one was fine and I did not need...

    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

Also on the clutch, same as a car, just bigger stuff. I cleaned mine which was soaked and it has been fine 6 years later! Eyeball it and also put your fingers in the open areas of the pressure plate where you can see the edge of the disk with everything installed to make sure it is centered...

    Hydraulic fluid leak when hot?

Number 20 did fall off the shaft on mine. I was able to put it back on the inner shaft with a looong screwdriver. It was not too bad to get it on just had to balance it right on the screw driver. Patience was the key to it. (although I was panicking about the thought of having to disassemble the...

Pats easy change and a need for pto extension?

The pats quick change add 4 inches I was wondering what the other ones like the land pride QH15 add to the distance. Is that where you got 2 inches from?

Pats easy change and a need for pto extension?

Thanks For the advice, I figured they were no good (pto extension). As far as the quick hitch I change implements often and do like the pats. I can take them off for when the shaft isn't long enough.

Pats easy change and a need for pto extension?

I have the pats quick change hitch, and do like them, but on my finish mower I had to buy a new shaft because it was too short. I borrowed a flail mower and wound up messing the driveshaft plastic cover up because I extended it too far. With the mower down there is good overlap of the covers and...

    Backhoe help

Is yours a l3540-3? mine is the earlier version l3540 (no -3) I went with a different dealer. They are ordering the frame that fits the bh90 (backhoe version prior to the bh92). They would not give me a warranty if I installed it. I think that is b.s. but they are only charging me $350.00 and I...

    Backhoe help

I am looking to purchase a new backhoe for my l3540 (it is not the -3 version). I would like a bh-92. I called my dealer and he quoted me the backhoe and frame kit. The frame kit he quoted is for a l4701 I don't think it will fit? I looked up the frame kit on the kubota part site but it only...

    L3540 Lurches with high rpms.

I finally Replaced both the pedal sensor and the hst sensor and re calibrated them with the dash. The procedure is in the electrical section of the manual. It was strait forward and simple. The result, OMG what a difference. It's like a different tractor. Not only the lurching when stopped is...

Let me back up a bit first, Last week I washed the tractor and after that the problem was real bad. I didn't realize at the time the swash...
