Hey rentthis, Tractor did not run when I got it. Had oil in radiator so did not bother to try and start it. Just tore it down and my service guy told me about everything that looked really worn and I told him if it looks rough replace it with a new part. spent about $2K on new parts and she runs...

Thanks D2Cat, I will give that a shot on the forum. I think I may have been looking at the temperature sensor, on the left side of the block (from driver seat)and has a single wire going to it. But you are saying it is in the end of the cam shaft.

I don't understand. If I am sitting still and depress lock, then it pops out as soon as I touch the gas and I am back to one wheel spinning again.

Hello guys, I have a L1500DT when I depress the lever with my right heel to engage the locker I can feel it lock. When I release it to hit the accelerator it pops out of lock.Am I doing something wrong? Or am I just ignorant?

Reckon where a feller could get an operators manual for a L1500DT. Lots of levers and knobs that i have no idea what they do, hate to start jacking with everything and tear something up or worse yet kill my dang self. Any help sure would be appreciated.Just an ole redneck way down south.

Thought i had a L1501DT, but i just found some numbers stamped on the right side of the PTO case that says L1500DT-16415. Does anyone have a clue what the numbers after the dash are.And how do i tell what year it is.Thanks Keith.

Nice looking tractor, I just bought one myself last week. Still trying to figure out what model it is, i know it is a grey market Kubota just ain't figured out which one yet. Nearest i can figure it looks like a L1500.Will try to post some pics later.
