Has anybody else used hydraulic oil dye so you can more easily see the fluid in the check window? I haven't seen Kubota brand oil, but I did find John Deere oil, part number MT3668. Think it's ok to use it, or will it make my tractor get sick and turn green?

I want to weld (or have welded) D-rings on a L4400. I will put the ones on the front like the original photos at the start of this thread. But I am at a loss as to where to put them on the back. Any suggestions?

I should have updated this sooner, but boy, did the time get away from me! I contacted Kubota corporate office. They were none too pleased about the situation. They had the dealer come to my place with a new tire AND they serviced my tractor, oil change/etc, no charge. In other words, they...

I called the dealer. The guy that answered the phone took the information and said somebody will get back to me. We'll see. I'll post when I find out. I never would have thought that would be something you'd have to check when buying brand new. Makes me wonder what other surprises are in store.

I just noticed today that I have two different size front tires. Bought new from the dealer. I put 49 hours on. The right side is 8.3-16, which is correct for a L4400, 4WD. The left side is a 7-16 which belongs on a L3400, 4WD. Can having two different size front tires do any damage to the...
